ENDOmeTRIO (ERA/EMMA/ALICE)

Consolidate your chances

The endometrium is the innermost lining layer of the uterus which during the menstrual cycle grows to a thick, blood vessel-rich and glandular tissue under the influence of female hormones. If pregnancy doesn’t occur, the endometrium sheds in a process known as menstruation. The endometrial cavity is the place where the embryo implants and resides during gestation. The period during which the endometrium is ready to receive the embryo is called the window of implantation.

ERA (Endometrium Receptivity Array) test is designed to evaluate and analyse the expression level of 236 genes related to the status of endometrial receptivity in order to determine if a receptive or non-receptive genetic profile is present and therefore to enable us to find a personalised window of implantation for each patient. It has been proven that ERA test helps patients who have experienced implantation failure while using good quality embryos.

EMMA (Endometrium Microbiome Metagenomic Analysis) test is a diagnostic tool identifying and analysing the endometrial microbiome for a better reproductive prognosis. Considering that 30% of infertile women have pathogenic bacteria this test provides specific information regarding the balance of bacteria in the endometrium as a key factor for successful implantation. If levels of healthy bacteria are low, pregnancy chances may be reduced.

ALICE (Analysis of Infectious Chronic Endometritis) test detects pathogenic bacteria and recommends adequate treatment. Pathogenic bacteria cause chronic endometritis, which is linked to implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage. In cases of repeated implantation failure or recurrent pregnancy loss, chronic endometritis can rise to 66%.

ENDOmeTRIO testing

ERA, EMMA and ALICE with a single biopsy can time the transfer of the embryos with the optimal macrobiota( flora) and therefore can improve significantly the success rates in patients with recurrent implantations failure.
