The intrauterine infusion of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a promising approach enhancing the growth of thin endometrium. It is blood plasma prepared from your fresh whole peripheral venous blood that has been enriched with platelets. PRP contains several growth factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF), platelet derived growth factor (PDGF), transforming growth factor (TGF) and other cytokines that stimulate proliferation and growth of the refractory endometrium. Several studies illuminate significant difference in pregnancy success rates after using PRP treatment.
